It seems that since the age of 5, Adam Wood’s destiny pointed to a future full of musical successes. From grade school to high school, Adam was involved with music in every capacity as a part of the concert band, jazz band, choir, and show choir. It wasn’t until later in his high school years that Adam’s real journey with the music industry would begin.
During the summer of 2000, a visit to Nashville, Tennessee turned into a catalyst that created a series of musical accomplishments that is unique for an ordinary midwestern boy from the town of Hoopeston, Illinois. A meeting with music industry veteran Chad Dutka turned Adam’s view of music as a hobby into a whole dreamscape of possibilities.
Later in 2001, Adam moved to the small town of Sebewaing, Michigan to finish high school and plan a musical future that most people only dream of pursuing. After graduation, life got much more interesting as Adam shared the stage with such artists as Jars of Clay, Project 86, GS Megaphone, The Hollow, Daniel’s Window, and many others. 2002 also brought the hit radio single “Take My Hand”, written and performed by Adam, recorded with good friend Luke Boyce of Regarding Angels.
Heavy traveling brought on many new views of the music industry and a desire to experience more of the business side. After moving back to Illinois, Adam settled into business classes at a local community college, got married, and began working with prominent business man Robert Davis. During a period of work with Davis, helping to develop some of the Nation’s most highly regarded corporate structures; Adam was armed with knowledge of internet contextual marketing that could instantly launch any business in any industry to overnight national awareness and success.
Eventually, this lead Adam to move his family to the Nashville area to pursue a position with Gateway Entertainment as Vice President of Marketing.
